Sometimes thinking outside of the box can feel uncomfortable, even if it’s exciting. New possibilities naturally come with a healthy dose of doubt and even trepidation. It’s okay to question because that’s how we learn but don’t second guess your best ideas into oblivion. Ignore the voices that tell you you’re not clever enough to figure out a way forward even if you hit a hitch.
Above all, be kind. Treat your mind, body and soul with compassion. Forgive yourself for the ideas that didn’t work, the stuttered answers, the bungled conversations. No one is perfect. Natural poetry flows when you speak from your heart. Trust your muse.
