Sometimes the noise of the world out there is not so easily silenced. There’s an urge to withdraw to a quiet place to rest, recuperate and reconnect with the heart. But life’s hard edges push up against us, reminding us of responsibilities, all the work that needs to be done. Shiny things twinkle, catching our eye but maybe they aren’t the gold we were looking for. What we’re attracted to doesn’t seem to satisfy. The heart yearns for something indefinable.
Don’t let overly romantic notions lead you on a wild goose chase. If you feel disappointed or disillusioned, relax, find your place of peace within. Check whether your values and goals are still aligned to one another. Let your intuition guide you back on course. Use these energies for creative work or spiritual practice. Remember you have a responsibility to save yourself first. Forgive to dissipate anger. Pray for strength and it shall be given.
