Sometimes, especially during periods of stress or depression, we can feel out of tune with ourselves. Perhaps we’ve realised that we’ve been dancing to someone else’s tune. Maybe life has been too noisy. It’s time to turn the focus inwards so that we can hear the music of the soul.

It’s possible that when you turn within, all you hear is silence. That’s okay. Be at peace with that. From the silence ripples a joyous note of recognition, a quiet hum of unconditional love. Your soul song needs space to be sung. Tap out the tempo of your heartbeat. Let yourself be hypnotised by the rhythm of your breath. You exist, effortlessly, as your body moves to its own music. Say your name and listen to the cadence of its sound. You are waves in motion – sound and light, silence and song. Bring yourself back into harmony.
